The Arc of King County promotes and protects the human and civil rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work, and play in the community.
We provide support across the lifespan, from prenatal diagnosis to end of life. We work directly with people with disabilities, their families, professionals serving them, and the broader community.
We provide homelessness prevention and housing stability support services for people with disabilities and their families, in addition to support for people with disabilities to navigate the array of disabilities services across the lifespan. We also provide training and consultation to other community organizations to help them better recognize, understand, and support people with developmental disabilities within their programs.
